Ellie
Ellie arrived at Milagro House 19 years old and pregnant with her first child. Even though she had a high school diploma, Ellie spent her first few months participating in the enrichment program at Milagro House’s Education Center. After her little girl Rosie Ellen was born, she applied and was hired by Conestoga View and entered their CNA training program; she continues to be employed by Conestoga View. Ellie also obtained her driver’s license, bought a car and moved into her own apartment.
Someone finally took a chance and believed in me.
